Now more than ever, we need to keep ourselves as healthy as possible, both physically and mentally. 

Whether you've been consistently working out or looking to get started, there are incredibly impactful steps you can take right from home to improve your health through great nutrition, fitness, and mindset. The great thing is, taking time to work on these areas has a direct impact on your immune system and its function.

Over the course of the next few weeks we are going to help you do just that. We're going to help you stay in or get into a consistent workout routine, improve your nutrition, and develop strategies to destress. DSC has your back! 

Today, we're kicking things off with the 20 BEST ab exercises you can do right from home. These exercises are specifically designed to improve core strength, burn calories, shred fat, and give you the boost in mood we all need right now!

We've even included a couple sample ab workouts for all levels you can do right from your living room with minimal to no equipment.

Beginners Ab Workout 

Complete each exercise for :20 and rest :40 before rotating to the next exercises. Complete each exercise in order and complete 3-4 rounds. 

  1. Front Plank (regular or modified)

  2. Side Plank (right side) (regular or modified)

  3. Side Plank (left side) (regular or modified)

  4. Dead-Bugs

Intermediate Ab Workout

Complete 10 reps of each exercise before moving right to the next exercise. Complete as many rounds of each exercise as possible.

  1. Elbow Touches (each side)

  2. Side Plank Oblique (right) 

  3. Side Plank Oblique (left)

  4. Jack-Hammer

  5. Straight Leg Sit-Up

Advanced Ab Workout

Complete each exercise for :40 and rest :20 between exercises. Complete 3-5 rounds.

  1. Seated Twist

  2. Sit-Through

  3. Plank Jacks

  4. Toe Touches
