"DSC Has Completely Changed My Life!"
Before DSC I had a membership at Planet Fitness, my exercise routines were boring and it was difficult because I didn’t know what exercises to do or what machines would benefit me the most (and there is no one to help/guide you).
Then COVID came so I canceled my Planet Fitness membership, I tried to exercise at home but it was difficult for me to find motivation, I just never had the energy.
I was always tired, didn’t sleep well, and had headaches every day.
My primary goal was to lose weight and to look better, but also to be healthy and have more energy. I knew that if I didn’t do something soon eventually my obesity would lead me to serious health problems.
The only fear I had was that I would not be able to do the exercises.
To be honest I didn’t think I could do it, I was nervous that I would embarrass myself and felt very intimidated. After my first class I felt exhausted and out of breath but I felt great, I LOVED IT! The minute I walked out of the gym I knew I had made the best decision and I looked forward to my next class even though my whole body was sore, it was a good feeling.
Overall my whole experience at DSC has been fantastic!
I love all the workouts and the fact that every day is different. The coaches are amazing! They are all very friendly and professional, they make sure you are doing your exercise correctly and they make the workouts fun!
I was diagnosed with early arthritis in both my knees and all the coaches have been very helpful modifying the exercises I am not able to do and still make sure I get a great workout!
Since I joined DSC a year ago I’ve lost a total of 30lbs! I’m down 3 pant sizes!
I used to wear XL shirts and now I’m a Medium. I feel stronger, more confident, I have more energy and I have muscles that I never had or could ever imagine to have. Health wise, my headaches have decreased, I’ve changed my nutrition habits and I sleep much better at night.
I feel GREAT! DSC has completely changed my life!
My favorite part of DSC, is the family atmosphere and the support I receive not only from the coaches but also from other members. We support and encourage each other and my favorite part of the workouts is definitely the after-workout feeling: tired, sweaty, out of breath, sore BUT also accomplished and I feel proud of myself.
I am more consistent with my exercises. I started going to the gym twice a week. Now I try to do it every day. Also, I am more aware of what I eat, I always think about the effort I make to burn calories and think twice about eating something high in calories or fat.
I am so excited to think about how much I have improved! Little by little I have been increasing the weight in my kettlebells, medicine balls and dumbbells. I can do much more than what I thought I could do and I’m excited to find out how I can learn and improve even more.
