Strength and Conditioning Coaching Internships and Marketing Interships are offered at Dynamic Strength and Conditioning first and second semester as well as summertime.


STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH INTERNSHIP


An internship at Dynamic Strength and Conditioning will present you with the opportunity to experience hands-on coaching with up to 100 clients per day. You will be coaching athletes at all levels as well as the general population. This internship will dramatically improve your abilities as a personal trainer and strength coach.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Dynamic Warm-up, Joint Mobility and Flexibility Drills
Demonstration of Training Techniques
Functional Conditioning
Overall strength training with increased proprioceptive demands
Linear and Lateral Speed Development
Plyometric Drills
Daily setup of Gym
Must be comfortable interacting with clients
Present yourself in a professional manner

Internship schedule


January 2 to May 10 (2 positions)
September 1 to December 23 (2 positions)
June 1 to August 30 (4 positions)

MARKETING INTERNSHIP


Position: Assist in developing sports marketing initiatives designed to promote training programs and services, creating promotional materials, calling and setting up meetings, research and data entry.

1) Help develop and implement programs aimed at increasing attendance during each of the training seasons.
2) Help create various deliverables efficiently using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Design, market and distribute promotional materials effectively.
3) Help develop database of contacts for local youth leagues, teams, athletic directors and media contacts.
4) Assist Marketing Director with day-to-day projects and duties including making phone calls and developing relationships with possible future customers.
5) Assist in the overall function of MBSC administration with duties as assigned by the Marketing Director.
 

Required Skill Set:


Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator desireable.
Experience creating graphic design products (flyers, brochures, signs)
Experience working with spreadsheets
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize & meet deadlines
Interest in Athletics/Sports/Training

Candidate should be capable of initiating and maintaining strong personal relationships. In addition, he/she should be able to coordinate with Marketing Director to ensure the completion of the associated marketing projects. A high degree of organization and self-motivation is required. This person must quickly learn the product/services offered and the market.  He/She must also stay aware of the upcoming company opportunities to ensure participation with current, former, and newly gained contacts.

Employment Status: Part time unpaid internship, 15 - 20 hours per week. Starting ASAP.
